'Holding the Moment'

The ‘Moment' compositions are an emotional expression of the unpredictable and unexplained dynamic aspects of the chaotic sensations, thoughts, feelings and sense of presence that fill the very seconds of time.

The very nature of a ‘moment' is impermanent and these compositions have chosen to capture an essence of what a moment's feeling, sensation and importance can mean.

The descriptive act of applying paint and presence of colour creates a narrative from something momentous and introspective. Within this process there emerges a ‘language’ or ‘a sense’ with an integrity of it’s own presence.

The world we live in constantly reminds us to remember moments. From lyrics to prose to film, it is constantly referred to and it is something we all cherish. The memory, the feeling, the pleasure, the sadness, it is the one thing that unites us and it is this experience of life and the emotion derived that is my inspiration.
